Welcome to the World of Yogi

As former Buckcherry, The Wallflowers and Fuel member, California born and raised artist, Yogi, has a curriculum vitae which reads like an encyclopedia of musical legends. He has shared the stage and/or recorded with an impressive list of artists including: Chris Cornell, Melissa Etheridge, Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Alanis Morissette, Shakira, DJ Zedd, Natasha Bedingfield, Nikka Costa, Anastacia, Five For Fighting, Bonnie Raitt, Booker T Jones, Meredith Brooks, Koshi Inaba (Japan superstar/B’z vocalist) as well as Chinese superstars, Jeff Chang, Leehom Wang and Jason Zhang.

He was also honored to play with Jimi Hendrix’s own Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame opening of the Jimi Hendrix exhibit. He’s toured in support of rock icons The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Aerosmith, AC/DC, KISS, Lenny Kravitz, Linkin Park and Korn. This list highlights just a few of the many collaborations Yogi’s been a part of during his impressive career, which just keeps getting stronger.

Away from the world of touring, filming, traveling, he has been awarded a prestigious Grammy nomination (US) for “Best Hard Rock Band” and a Kerrang award (UK) for “Best Hard Rock Performance” with Buckcherry. Yogi has put his undoubted and versatile talent to good use and has produced three solo albums and a psychedelic rock band project called Run Through The Desert. For this band, Yogi enlisted the help of Chris Cornell’s last touring rhythm section; Corey McCormick and Jason Sutter.

His solo debut, entitled “Metta”, won him the Los Angeles Music Award’s “Best Independent Pop Artist”.

Songs from his sophomore acoustic album, “Hesitant Poet”, have been featured in numerous TV and film productions. Yogi’s albums show a craftsmanship and vocal maturity that can only be achieved by a man in full command of his already world-recognized talent. In recent years, Yogi co-wrote and recorded with Croatian hip hop star Edo Maajka and Chinese pop star Jeff Chang as well as playing his own trio shows around the globe. He is continuously writing and producing tracks worldwide.

His newest album entitled “Rebirth” was released in 2020 to critical acclaim.  Yogi recently won a Status Award in the category of Best Pop Rock and Urban for electric and acoustic guitar.

Yogi does not only share his music with us, by writing and producing his own work, but he shares a pathos, a new future and a vision of sincerity for modern rock that belies any doubt of his genius.
